Hi everyone!

I'm trying to pick and choose chat logs, but here's the problem. Each chat logs is literally about 30 pages long even if I have reduced the letter size to 7 in word.. This is too much paper if I'm planning to send one chat log for the last 3 or 4 years..
Can I know what's the best way to print these? I always printed a screenshot of the files of chatlogs I have - around 5 MB each per month. Isn't this really enough?
I can't imagine printing 12 chatlogs, each of them 30 pages long.. it's too much!!

Ideas appreciated, thanks in advance!

Print a sample - they shouldn't need 30 pages to know if the relationship is genuine. Also, while you can't submit the DVD as a proof, take a DVD of all chats - and everything else - with you to your interview so that they are available.

What I'm doing right now is copy-and-paste into a Word document some interesting excerpts from IM chats. Good things to pick would be when you discussed your relationship, moving to either Canada or the other country, how much you miss each other, discussions of family members, work, etc., future plans of any kind (like how you will be set up together and how you will make a living one you are together), and so on.

Aside from frequency of communication, which can be determined just from a list of chat dates, these are some of the kinds of things an IO would be interested to see. You don't really want to give them 30 pages and make them search for the significant bits in there. At least, that's my opinion.
