Very helpful information. Does a Chartered Accountant from India+ CPA from the US need to write CA or CPA exams again in Canada? Do Canadian companies value an Indian CA and US CPA qualification?

I have finished Bachelors Of Commerce from India and looking forward to do CPA in Canada,I am residing in Barrie enrolled in Business accounting diploma.I want information about the modules (CPA PREP) and CPA PEP,some of my doubts are as follows it would be very much of help to me if they are answered by anybody,thanks.

1)From which modules I could be exempted and what do I get as resources to complete the rest of the modules, do CPA body provides resources or we have to arrange ourselves?

2)How the CPA PEP courses are delivered to students i.e. by which methodnline courses, books or anything else?

3)Is it advisable to complete PER (practical experience requirement),we have to find an employer ourselves or CPA helps us getting an employer?

Hi Guys

I am from Nepal and I have completed 3 years BBS (Bachelor of Business Studies) and 2 years MBS (Master of Business Studies) from TU, Nepal. Apart from this, I have also completed CA (18 papers) from ICAN. I wish to enroll in CPA-Canada (Ontario). Can somebody pls tell me what modules will I be exempted from? I am planning to enroll the course right from the beginning (now).

Would request friends from India and Nepal to comment. ICAN course has been almost same to ICAI except for local Corporate Laws and Taxation.
