I recently quit from company I worked (before ITA) But I forgot to update my profile and in work history section it was mentioned “still working” and no end date. however I do not claim any point from this specific work experience, does it cause any problem?? I heard from a lawyer that it may be a reason to reject my application.

Not an issue as long as you met the eligibility requirements and had enough work experience at the time of the ITA and your e-APR.
