Changing to work permit after marriage

Hello,
So I am currently in Manitoba, me and my girlfriend are both living together and we are both international students with study permit. I wanted to know if we get married, will one of be able to switch to work-permit or we have to still stay on study permit. I really need to know about this urgently and any help with this will be highly appreciated.

Once you are married you can apply for a work permit but it doesn’t mean you will approved. It will take months to process. SOWP aren’t guaranteed. If refused, then wait until she is on her PGWP and has a job in a NOC A, B or 0 job with 3 paystubs and then reapply.

If you are both still studying and have valid SPs, then getting married doesn't void your study permits.
