So what is the status of your partner? You need to live continuously together for one year with proof to claim common-law.

If you don't live together then you aren't common law. Once you have lived together for one year continuously along with proof (rental agreements, utilities, bank accounts) then you can claim common law. Are you close to graduating so you are elgible for a PGWP?

No. Im waiting for IRCC to approve to restore/extend my study permit
