Changing status

Hi all,I hope you are wel.Guys,if you have info can you share with me about changing status.I am refugee claimant in Canada,If I get married with student who study here can withdraw my claim back and aply other status? Thanks.Good luck to all of you

If you get married and withdraw your refugee application there is no status that will overcome them deporting you. Your student spouse can only offer a work permit at best at this point. That is not enough to overcome a deportation order.

If you withdraw your status you would have to leave. You need your passport to apply for any sort of status and your passport won't be returned to you until you are leaving the country.

So your options are either to continue with the refugee application - or to withdraw and be prepared to leave.
