Hello everyone.Maybe someone can help me with my situation
Currently now i have visitor visa valid for 2 years and now i am already in Canada visiting my parents ( they have nomination program for Saskatchewan province and work permits) By mistake my dad made me a visitor visa instead of work visa. I am included at the application like dependent children( i am 21 now) and we are waiting for PR.We applied for work permit inside Canada but already got twice refusal letters for changing status from visitor for work. Do someone know if i actually can work in Canada being independent child and is it necessary to receive LMIA?
Another questions is : After arriving immigration officer gave a permission to stay in Canada till December ( for 6 month) My question is for how long i need to leave country and come back, and do i need to leave for my home country or doesnt matter where to leave?
Thank you

Until you land as a Permanent Resident, you are still only a visiting Foreign National. There is no automatic open work permit for a dependent child. What did the refusal letters say? You will a need an LMIA for a closed work permit. If you leave the country, remain outside for at least 6 months or CBSA’s opinion might be that you are trying to live in Canada without authority.

Thank you for an answer!
In my second refusal written that
Eligibility for a work permit in this category only applies to the spouse or common-law partner of a study permit holder abd
[X] Based on the information i have provided, i am not not eligible for an open Work Permit and need a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).

So to clarify, i will need to leave the country for 6 month, and just them i need to come back? ( but If at this time i will get PR, thats changes everything, right?)

You could try to extend your stay as a visitor there is a process for that whilst remaining in the country instead of leaving. You apply within the 30 days before your authorised stay expires.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/extend-stay.html

Keep in mind that as and when the PR application is successful then if you had left the country before that on your own then for you to activate your PR status on your return you need to time that after the primary applicant assume your father has landed.
