Changing schools. In person to online program

I am enrolled at U of Saskatchewan for Bachelor of Computer Science. I want to transfer to a different school that offers in-person and online options, and the same degree. I am a study visa holder from the US. Will the online program restrict my options for PGWP if I am in an online program (would be in Canada at the time of the study)?

When did you start your program at U of Sask? PGWP requirements changed September 1.
 
I just started this September. I would be completing this year and then transferring for the next two years. I saw they had changed but also see they are temporary for covid adaptations so didn't completely understand.
