Hi! I have another question.
We’re going to submit our spousal sponsorship application tomorrow (July 3,2018).
I am a permanent resident and my husband is in Philippines.
When we were filling the forms up, I used my maiden name, we just got married last March 8 in Philippines and I came back to Canada last May 1. I searched also that changing my valid ID and documents in Canada like PR card, health card and provincial photo ID will take like 12 weeks or 3 mos. So, we chose not to change my last name and proceed with the application because I would like my husband to come here as soon as possible.
My question is, can I change my last name to his name (because I really wanted to have his name as well) while waiting for our application to process? Will it cause any trouble on our application? Thank you so much in advance to those people who will answer. God bless!
