Hi all,

I received my COPR about a week ago and we are really excited to be moving in June after my fiance finishes he exams and my work contract expires. We initially planned on staying in Mississauga, Ontario as there were lots of job opportunities in the Toronto area. Life happened and we decided that we want to go to Calgary due to having some friends there.

On my COPR it says that I intend to settle in Mississauga, does this mean I need to stay there for a year or so? I ask because the border officer will ask me where I intend to stay, and if I give him a Calgary address I dont want to look suspicious. The thing is, we are both outside of Canada and this is our first time that we are going to live in Canada. As such, we knew that we might change our mind about our destination. Even though our application said we are moving to Mississauga, how can we tell the border officer that we changed our minds due to personal reasons? Is it okay?
