Greetings,

I'm an international student here in Canada and I'm also an experienced web developer, I've been offered a job position in a good company here and it's a great opportunity, I would like to explore the possibility to changing my status to a work permit, I looked up online and found that for this kind of job I don't need a LMO, because it lays under the NOC Type A class and I would be qualify to a fast processing time, now my question is what are my chances of actually getting this kind of visa? and is it worth it to give it a go? Does anyone know anyone who did this before?

I'm not sure why you think an LMIA isn't required. The fact that it is a NOC A job does not exempt the employer from requiring an LMIA.

Unfortunately you've misunderstood the rules. An LMIA is in fact required for you to qualify for a work permit. The first step is for your employer to obtain the approved LMIA - you can then apply for a work permit.

Yes- others have been successful in doing this. However an LMIA is definitely required.
