changing course different in duration

can i change college as well as course which is different in duration(from two years to one year) after reaching canada for next intake ?will there be any problem as i have two years visa on my passport and want to switch to a one year program??do i have to inform cic or immigration officials about this??experts enfield....plz help me out.......

i think the most authentic source would be the CIC website and not the people on this forum.u should consult that .people here may not know the answer.
you can find the answer ,when u read the FAQ's there.
