Need help about PGWT and course duration

Dear friends, I am planning to apply for the graduate program in one of the Toronto colleges. Some of them like George Brown, Humber and Centennial mentioned that the duration of the course is 1 year (including the co-op program) and Seneca mentioned that the duration is 8 months (I don't know if Seneca offers co-op). Now I have some questions, If I apply for the PGWT after one year course, am I eligible for the one year PGWT? I mean does the co-op counts in the duration of the full time study? Moreover. do they count the hours of your co-op program at the required working hours of the PR? (do you suggest one year program at the college at all? because I can not afford the two years programs at the universities)

The duration of the course in the completion letter will be what matters so if the course is one year and that includes the coop then you should get a one year PGWP.

Any work you do whilst on a study permit will not count in a PR application.

Thanks for the response. You mean if I work part time during a whole year of my study, it does not count in my PR application? This is almost impossible to work one year and full time with my one year PGWT.

Work during your study permit does not count

That's why it's recommended to do a longer program or multiple programs in order to get a 3 year PGWP. Even those with 3 year PGWPs often don't get the experience needed to qualify for PR.
