Changing conditions of study permit

Hi, im from america and i recently got approved for my study permit for a 4 year bachelor degree program. I applied for it to be in september 2012 and now i cant make it until january 2013. Will i have to contact the cic, change conditions or fill anything out?
Or can i just take me letter upon entry?

You only need Letter of deferral from you college/University showing that you have delayed the start of your course to Winter 2013. This will be required at the port of entry.

You need a new TRV if previous one get expired.
