Changing Application Details (Work history)

Hi,
I have created an Express Entry profile with company name ABCD but after I received the ITA I found that the official company name in country is BCD only (due to a recent name change that hasn't yet reflected in the official documents)

Would there be a problem if I change the employer name to BCD in the PR Application? Or, Should I try to get the papers that prove the first name?

Get the proof of company name change first, as during background check, the VO may verify this company.
If you change the name in your PR application (EE profile), then the same new company name must reflect in your employer reference letter.

The best for me would be changing the company name in the profile. I just want to make sure this is Ok.
