When checking ECAS, there is a link below where one can change there Address online.

Has any one here done that recently? Does it affect the processing time?

My spouse application is in stage 2. When I check ECAS, it shows Application Received & Medical Result Received.

We wanted to change the address and want to make sure that this will not be a red flag.

I just wanted to make sure that, I can change the address at this point of the application:

I am applying outland for my spouse.

When I clicked on the Link, it took me into this page:

Honestly, the process with CIC is so slow and cumbersome, and it seems that it is so easy to break, that I would never dare change my address online, unless I have no other choice, for fear of slowing down the process even more! :'(

Can you make your change of address at the post office instead and have them forward your mail?

I changed my address during stage two and it posed no problem for me.

Thanks! I was hoping to hear from someone who dit. It is good to know!!!

We have not been lucky with CIC so far. A letter that they supposedly sent us was lost in the mail, and after we advised them of the situation, it took an extra 4 weeks to straighten things out.
Because of this, we are behind other applicants by more than two months. So, I am weary of the whole process.. :'(

Hi Everyone,

Could somebody please guide what steps needs to be followed to change the contact address when parents arrive in Canada ?
