Changed of Name

Hi Everyone,

Few days ago i changed my first name and reapply for a new passport with my new name in it.
I have a pending application with my old firstname which got approved last night, how do I update
my new name with Ircc since my POE and ETA letters came with my old name or should I travel to Canada with both my old and new passport.

Any contribution will be highly valued.

1. Send a copy of your new passport with the new name and supporting documents to show the name change.
2. You will need a new LOA from CIC.

1. CIC is the legal name for IRCC. You send a web form to the office handling your case, with the information attached.
