Changed jobs while on open work permit

Hi guys,

I graduated last May and started working on my Post Grad Work Permit, which is an open work permit that specifies the employer as "Any". From June 2021 to Jan 2022, I worked for company A as a support researcher, and from Feb 2022 till now I'm working for company B as a software developer. Both positions qualify for NOC 2173 Software Engineer.

I'm filling out the documents right now and came across these 2 questions in the "Intended work in Canada" section:

• Is X's job offer from the employer named on the current work permit? (required)

• Has X been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit for at least one year? (Or for an equal amount of part time work?)
  

I was wondering if anyone might happen to have an idea on these questions?

I would assume the first one is "Yes", since the employer on my open work permit is "Any"; Yet for the second question, I don't really have a clue -- My two experiences adds up to one year, yet neither alone meets a year. Any ideas?

Any suggestions would be really helpful, thanks!

You answer NO for both. You don’t have a LMIA with a ”named“ employer.
