Change work permit in different field

Hi,
I am currently a work permit holder as a Home child care provide and my work permit is restricted with one employer. I employer stop giving me work so i applied for an open work permit but they denied it. So i would like to ask if i am eligible to get an another LMIA in different field or the lmia should be in same child-giver field. I am so confused i dont understand what should i do please help me.

You can certainly switch fields. You would need to find a new employer and that new employer would need to obtain an approved LMIA. Once the new LMIA is approved, you can then apply for a new closed work permit.
