Change position with SAME employer during PR process(AINP nomination)

Hi everybody!
I was wondering if anybody knows if I can change positions within the same company/employer while my pr application is being processed(based on AINP nomination -employer driven stream). Will I need to update my pr application or notify ainp office? Will it affect my application in any way? Does it matter if it's a position in another department and different NOC?(still same employer though)

You will have no problem provided the job falls under a qualifying category in relation to NOC under the stream you applied through.

Additionally,you can fill the change of job form to update your file with the new position and attach a letter of explanation.
