Change photograph specification

Hi guys our app was received by CIC last December 10, 201 However I am wondering if I sent them the correct photograph because I followed the old specification. i did not notice the new specification though. when did they change it or update it?

I wouldn't worry about it. If they want new photo's they will ask for them . If you are still concerned go to your country specifications and send new ones. but honestly i wouldn't worry about it .

Asking when they changed it you would have to provide the country you are applying from as every country or many have different specifications of sizes, which i didn't know until last week when i looked it up for someone else.

They changed the photo specs at the end of last month. They may just request for correct photos or return your application to resubmit it with new photos. So i would wait and see.

taffy: The photos are of exactly the same spec/size regardless of the country. It's the same photo that we submit during the application that goes into PR cards.

No they are not E.G. Europe 35mm/45mm Pakistan 50mm/ 70mm

When our eCAS changed to Decision Made, they emailed us to send new photos.

New photo requirements are aligned with Canadian passport photos.

The CIC government website says 50mm x70 mm 2 inches wide x 2/3 inches long and sized so the face measures between 31 mm and 36 mm from chin to crown of head.
You should look at your country specific guide to see how many you are required to send.
They needed one of the photos signed and dated by the photographer.
Also when I went the photographer said wear a solid colour shirt with no writing in it. But I did not see that in any instructions.

Then go to immigration and you will see the forms to fill out and find photos so you can see instructions for size.

We just received our corp today and they never asked for reprints, however i'm sure when we send off for his PR new photos will be required. We sent our application April 2014
