Change of citizenship in the middle of PR application

Hi,

We(me and my wife) are based in the UK and have been thinking of applying for a Canada PR for a while now as that is where we intend to settle long term. We currently hold Indian passports but I'm going to get my UK citizenship in a few months(I already have my ILR), which means my citizenship(and passport) will change. I was wondering what are the implications of a citizenship change in the middle of an application. Or should I apply for the Canadian PR after the UK citizenship thing is settled ?
