Change of appearance/ Hair transplant / New passport needed?

Hi,

I have recieved my AOR and awaiting the further steps however, in the meantime I am thinking to go through hair transplant here in India.
I know that change of appearance doesn't count if one has hair or going bald but I would like to understand if my hair transplant will really matter.

Just to be sure.

I am not bald but I have a receding hairline which is showing up now and also the same is in my passport.

I tried looking for answers everywhere but couldn't find anything that might help so please help.

I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I just want to ask — has anyone actually encountered issues at the airport due to a noticeable change in appearance like after a hair transplant? I’m considering doing one soon and wondering if a doctor's note or recent photos would help at immigration, especially if the passport is still valid and the face structure hasn’t changed.

I had a similar concern after a hair procedure and didn’t need a new passport. The photo was old, but they’re mostly checking the key facial features, not the hair. I actually had my work done at Miami Medical Spa Services, and even with a fuller hairline, no issues at airports or with IRCC. As long as your face is still clearly you, you should be fine.
