Hey guys, I'm thinking about moving and I was wondering if it would delay my citizenship application. I would just be moving from one part of the city to another, so the local office (Vancouver) would stay the same. Any help would be great, thanks!

No, it wont affect in anyway. However, moving from one province to another does causes delays. You're OK.

Hi there,
I had the same case. I submitted my application in Hamilton ON then moved to Toronto. I called CIC to change my address and the agent told me as your application is still in Sydney no delay will happen. I think it's reasonable. So if your application is still in Sydney, you good. If you change your address which changes your local office, you will have a delay of 6 to 8 weeks (according the CIC agent).

Hope it helps,
S.
