Change of Address/Employment

Hi All,

I'm stop working for my current employer fairly shortly, and that will also entail changing address. Any suggestions on how I go about informing CIC/Do i need to inform CIC?

Based outside Canada. Applying under FSW.

Hopefully it will be a moot point and i will have PPR by then, but just wanting to prepare!

I imagine this will be necessary only if you are changing cities or countries. EE is completely online so a change of address isn't going to make any difference to your application.

And that reminds me - Happy month anniversary of 'In Process'!

you do need to update them on your change of address, the confirmation of permanent residency is mailed out and if they don't have your correct address you might not receive it.

I would imagine that shouldn't concern CIC at all. It's not a part of your PR application. Updating the address would suffice.
