Change of address - Do CIC confirm the change?

I recently moved countries post-AOR and I submitted an online form with CIC to inform them of my new address. I received an auto email response, but can anyone tell me if CIC send confirmation that they've updated my address? OR do they not send one?

I had the same situation, today I called CIC to inquire about my application status, and the agent asked me to verify some of my information. So apparently the address that they had on file was still not updated even though it's been more than a month since I updated it online. I just updated my address over the phone with an agent.

Just an update for anyone looking for the same answer in the future. I emailed CIC and they actually responded a few hours later to confirm that the address change I submitted 3 weeks prior had indeed be updated. Very pleased with their speedy response as well! :)
 
Hey Guys,


I had submitted my PR application on March 30, 2017. Post submission of the application there has been an update in my and my dependent’s contact details, and we are currently residing in New Zealand. I have already raised a case-specific enquiry detailing my address change.

Following this, I received an email from CIC on the 25th of September 2017 requesting me to make my RPRF payments and to submit both my and my dependent’s passports to VFS Global in India. I am currently residing in New Zealand, so I am writing to inquire if I can submit all the requested documentation from New Zealand.

I have sent an enquiry to Canada as well as India but they haven’t responded yet and the automated mail says its gonna take at least 28 days for them to get back and frankly speaking, I don’t have that much time in my hands as I have to submit the documents before the 25th of October 2017.

Any help regarding this will be much appreciated you guys. I’m desperate:(
