Hey,

In June, I submitted my study visa application, along with the acceptance letter for the Master's program from the University of Alberta. Last week, however, I was accepted into a Ph.D. program at the University of Saskatchewan. I've decided to transfer to the University of Saskatchewan's Ph.D. program. Then I accessed my study permit application to transfer the program by changing the DLI number, and I figured that I needed to wait for approval of the study permit before changing the program.

However, can I send a webform with the new acceptance letter to inform the IRCC that I intend to change my program?

Note: I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery, and the two programs are research-based and related to dentistry.

I applied for a study permit from Egypt.

Thank you.

Notify IRCC asap and send them the new acceptance letter. If your study permit is approved for your original program and school, you will need to apply for a new study permit from scratch to change to the new school and program.

Yes, that's what I would do and hopefully you're not too late.

Is it a problem to transfer from master's program to a Ph.D. program, I mean may IRCC refuse my visa for this reason?

Since I can go for a master's or Ph.D. as I have a degree of bachelor's in dental surgery, and both programs are research-based and related to dental field.

It should be regarded as a positive.

I applied for my study permit online, so what should I choose for this question in the web form "
Is your application being processed by an office OUTSIDE Canada?"

"yes"

I sent a webform to IRCC to change the program and university.

Today morning, I have recieved the study permit approval. Is this approval for the new program I had admitted to or for the old one that I applied for visa??
