Change in status before OWP is issued

Hello,

I'm being sponsored under the spousal class and received AOR on January 13.

I am currently on a study permit valid until 2018 but I officially dropped out of classes today (meaning I am technically out of status).

1) I will notify IRCC of the status change, but will it affect the pending OWP application that was submitted along with my sponsorship papers? I had valid status when I applied for the OWP.

2) Do I need to apply for a visitor permit/record if an application to change status in Canada (OWP) has been submitted?

3) I submitted the Schedule A - IMM 5669 form last week, prior to dropping out of university. I stated that I was currently studying but that is no longer the case. Should I submit an updated form as well?

If you submitted the OWP application before you quit your studies, you are on implied status. No you don't need to apply for visitor status.
