I got my Canada WP in May2018 n travelled to Canada on WP in 2018 Dec. In-between in Sept.2018 i got divorced through family court in India. However i didn't change my passport before travelling to Canada. After coming to Canada i kept my marital status as Married in CRA and SIN because of my passport n WP was having the same status. Due to work and all other stuff it went out of my mind and I renewed my WP in Dec. 2019 with same status as"Married".
Recently i submitted my Express entry profile for PR also as Married. in recent draw i got the ITA . Is it possible to change the status now to Divorce and continue with PR application.
I was not aware about the complexity of not changing the marital status to Divorce immediately after coming to Canada. Need some advice or expert who can guide me on next step. How i can correct my information in IRCC & CRA record.
