Hello,
So, this question have been answered previously but my case has some particularities that make me concerned and I would like you guys to clarify my thoughts.
I’m a dual citizen (italian/brazilian) currently living in Brazil. My main goal here is to find the optimal way to make sure after I start working in Canada I would not need to leave. My secondary goal is to move before september 2019.
I’m the main applicant of a FSW EE process, under my brazilian citizenship, which I currently have 414 points. In May I will be completing 30 yo and will be finishing my MBA, what will take me to 441 points, after submiting a new ECA, and probably a ITA in late june or maybe July(fingers crossed).
I currently have an IEC working holiday visa PoE letter under my Italian citzenship. Which allow me a 6month work permit from the moment I enter Canada.
The scenario I’m considering, please correct me if I’m wrong, is to update my EE profile with my new ECA results in June and wait for an ITA. After I get an ITA, let’s assume in July, I’m planning to move to Canada write away, activating my WHV 6months work permit and changing my FSW EE from outland to inland, in order to have to submit my passports to a canadian Visa office.
After getting the AOR I intend to apply for a bridging open work permit, which will allow me to stay working in Canada without any worries about having to leave due to expire of my WHV work permit.
Concern 1: is it possible to submit a CSE requesting to change the process from outland to inland? (I only saw examples of people changing country but remaining outland)
Concern 2: will I incour in any difficulties to request a bridging open work permit between an application from my italian citzenship(IEC WHV) and my brazilian citzenship(EE FSW)?
