I am currently enrolled in one year clg prg and i have study permit of one year. i have a offer letter for master's and i want to do that. but its duration is 2 years. would i be able to change the institution and extend my study permit to 2 year? Also what could go wrong in this process?

Yes - you can switch to a Master's program. When you are switching schools, make sure the break between the time you stop attending your first program and start attending your Master's is less than 90 days.

You will have to extend your study permit. There should be no issues extending your study permit.

I have a question about 90 days?
my current prg started on 6 Sept and master's start from 1 jan. So, i should withdraw from my current prg after completing one semester in december ( as i have paid for one semester ). then i would have no 90 day issue, is that right?

Yes - that's right.

You want to avoid being out of school for more than 90 days since this will automatically cancel your study permit.
