Hi,

I'm a technical sales engineer and I had applied for permanent residency for Canada under FSW in 2011, but it was refused as the NOC which I selected (0811 Primary production manager) was not matching with my profile. My agent gave me only the main list of NOC and I was not aware of 6221 code that time which was in sub-category, hence I had to select the nearest one which was 0811. In 2015, my student visa got refused with other reason: the course I selected(PG Certificate in Marketing, Sales & Account Management) was not in line with the work experience, previous education (Instrumentation Engineer). My girl friend got student visa in 2015 and now she is on 3 years post study work visa. I need to meet my girl friend. Being considered my previous visa refusals, what are the chances of getting visitor visa for Canada? I and my girl friend (she was my team mate in the previous employment) hold Indian passports. I have been residing in New Zealand since Jan'2016. I studied here and now on post study work visa. I have been with the current full time employment (technical Sales Rep in a Multinational Company) for more than 6 months and also, I have applied for NZ permanent residency after getting expression of interest successfully and awaiting file number. I have never been to any country on visitor visa nor have history of tourism, but I have been to Japan four times on business visa, once to Bangladesh on business visa and to Australia & Singapore on Transit visa. My mother's aunt, her son, and daughter-in-law are Canadian citizens. They may send an invitation letter. It's been nearly two years and half since I last met my girlfriend. The time and distance has caused a bitterness in the relationship and my girlfriend stopped responding to me. so I desperately need to see her in person to convince her. I will not get any support / letter from my girlfriend. I'm 32 years old. I do not have any ties in NZ other than the job and residency application file number. My mother and one of my brother is in India and the other brother is in Dubai.Considering all of the above, may I know, are there any chances of getting visitor visa?

I sincerely appreciate your response.

Thanks,

Terry

If you're still eligible, apply for PR with the right NOC.
TRV is kind of 50-50.
