Hello everyone,

I was wondering what the chances of my aunt's family receiving a TRV are. I'm worried that because two members are retired that it may not go through. The family consists of my aunt, uncle, cousin and her grandfather. My aunt and the grandfather are retired, but both my cousin and uncle have full-time jobs. In addition, my aunt/uncle and possibly my cousin all have property in China, and can demonstrate that they have enough assets (+ pension). Do you think that the retirement status would hold them back from receiving a TRV?

Thank you!

Edit: Forgot to mention that everyone in the family was issued a 10 year US visa, and they've already been to the US once (except my cousin). They've also received a Japanese visitor's visa too and have been to Japan.

Sure, if the assets are as considerable as you say they are, and the US and Japanese visas help. Traveling as a family helps. I would recommend to prepare a solid daily itinerary and budget.
Retirement isn't necessarily a negative, and context matters.
Do not buy tickets before getting the visas approved.

Yeah they're hoping to get their visa before April 30th so they can fly here with my grandparents. I think they've already handed in their documents, so hopefully the CAN+ program pulls through!
