Hi,
I am currently enrolled in a 3 year bachelor degree at Western University, currently in my 4th year.
Since starting my studies I have had taken no breaks in my studies until the end of my 3rd year where I was academically suspended for one-year due to an academic violation.
At that time I had planned to take a 1-year full-time certificate program at a college in Canada as to not disrupt my studies in Canada until I can reapply to my old program, however shortly before applying my father fell into a coma back home and I was forced to return to attend to him, he had latter passed away in December (three months after entering the coma) (note that my mother had also passed away before starting my studies).
During my one-year stay back home I gained work experience as well as distance studies relating to my program and eventually I reapplied to my bachelor-degree program and my study permit and was accepted for both and now I am soon to graduate with excellent grades.
Please note that since I last returned to Canada I have been here for 10 months without breaks and continuously studying full-time in good standing.
Can someone please let me know if it is possible to be still be eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit or what could I do that would improve my chances? (eg. providing documents / including a letter)
Thank You
