Dear all,

I wanted to know if I have a chance of getting ITA, if my brothers file is under PR process for SINP PNP.

I have applied for express entry and my CRS score is 368.
IELTS score of R 8.5, L 8.5, S 8 and W 6.

Please advise.

Thanks in advance :)

I don’t quite understand your question!

Are you asking about claiming additional sibling points?

Has your brother already got his PR or is his application in process?

If he already has been granted PR and has been living in Canada then you can certainly claim points but if his application is in process then you unfortunately, can’t.

You can't claim points for a sibling if your brother has not yet landed.

Also, you should try giving IELTS again, your 6 in writing brings you to CL8, otherwise you could have got CLB10. I had 6, I worked harder for the next, and got a 7 in my next IELTS.

My CLB is 7 based on the IELTS score

He is in the process of getting PR, will land by end of 2019, even if I claim points for sibling that would make me reach 383.

So, still do I have chances of getting PNP nomination if blood relative is in SINP?

You can get points for blood/close relative for SINP if your brother is already a PR in Saskatchewan, if he is under process, then you can't.

But as my NOC 6221 is not in SINP list, I cant apply for SINP directly and get their nomination.

is there any chances that any pnp might consider this blood relation and give me ITA

No other PNP would consider this relation for nomination. They would require you to have close ties with "their" province, not with other provinces.

Why would province A give your nomination if you have more close ties with province B, province A gave you PNP because they wanted you and now you tell them that you want to be in some other province. That would be a violation of PNP.

Then I am stuck until my NOC 6221 is updated in SINP or I give IELTS and get a good score.

You need a signed copy of his COPR, Passport And Birth Certificate that shows your parents’ name are the same. In addition you will need Proof Of Canada Residency such as Utility Bill Or Residence Lease not older than 6 months.

So you will have to wait until he lands and starts living in Canada to get a copy of his utility bills!

In the meantime, you can work on IELTS for a better score :)

Thank you for the info, but still why take the hassle of proving blood relation instead clear ielts with good score n keep open ur chances of getting ITA from other provinces

Yes, true. Having a good IELTS score is always advantageous. I gave it twice to get into a higher band and get more points.
