Dear all,

I am looking to apply for a master degree in economics in Toronto, here is my brief profile:

1. 3 year BEng(honor) Hong kong university - GPA 2.98/4.0
2. 1 year MSc(honor) International management in UK - GPA 3.49/4.0
3. 1 year Postgraduate certificate financing planning in Toronto - GPA 3.79/4.0
4. 1.5 year experiences in HSBC - as economic analyst

I knew master degrees in Canada demand high academic achievements, unfortunately I did reli bad in my undergrad. My final year average in undergrad is 3.1, but there was one semester in 2nd year which i did terribly and got only 2.5, thats dragged my average a lot. I have done a master degree in London, UK afterwards and grad with merit. I am not sure about my uk result coz the scoring system there is entirely different. But i got my result evaluated by WES and apparently it converted my result to 3.49/4.00 under the GPA system. I have been to toronto 2 year ago and did a pg certificate in a college. I returned to my country later on and started working as an economic analyst in bank.

I would like to know if i have any chance to apply for a master degree in econ in Toronto? Have gone through several admission criteria and most uni. say that the results from last 2 year of study would be assessed. Will my master degree result in UK help? If they solely considered last 2 year of my undergraduate then i know the chances would be low. Any advices?
