Hello everybody,

I'm getting all my documents together, and of some of the documents I have to make copies. Now I understand that copies have to be certified. But I was wondering. Does this have to be done with every copy?
Even copies of pictures and postcards etc?
And what about copies of my diploma's?

i dont think if you need to certify all docs. you need to certify only reference letter, and translated copy of a document(if original is not in english or french). if you want you can send certified copy of marriage certificate also but nothing else, dont worry and send your package. we didnt certify anything other than reference letters and got approval.
good luck :)

How can i certify my copies? my birth certicate was translate in quebec by a certified person, so i need to send a copy certified of my birth certificate? in the checklist say a thing and in the guide another so i'm confused... my birth cert. is my only document in another language than english or french... omg i have almost all done and suddently find something! :S
thanks for any help!

The person who translated your birth certificate already had to ad an affidavit in which he or she has sworn that the contents of the translation is true etc. And a certified copy of the original document.

i'm confuse now, in the traslation of my birth certificate say that is a traduction spanish/french is conforme to the document was present to him... with his signature and number... so how i can get this paper certified? i was thinking that this was enough :( can i just send this original traslation of my original birth certificate in spanish? or where is possible to certified a copy? is not this traslation a certified copy of my birth certificate that is in spanish? i try to find on internet an answer but i don't speak so much english :( i will appreciate all your help...
