Hi.
I have a question about the translation of documents for the Express Entry. I had my documents translated from Portuguese to English and stamped by a certified translator. However, I used a local (Brazilian) board-certified translator and, just now, I read on the official EE page that a Certified Translator is "A member in good standing of a provincial or territorial organization of translators and interpreters IN CANADA". So, must I use a Canadian Translator, or can I use certified translators from other countries? Do you guys know?
Thank you.

It is either a certified translator or translation affidavit essentially verified by a notary public.
In essence ask your translator to get this Document rectified and sealed by a notary public noting it might be relatively at a higher cost.

Hello everyone! One question: for all documents that are not in English, we must submit translation. I got my translation done by ATIO certified translator. She sent me package which includes the following: statement from translator, English translation and black&white copy of original (all of these has her ATIO stamp and signature). So now question: I need to upload scan of original in colour + ATIO package (including 3 documents as I mentioned before)?
Do I still need to get certified copy of the original as well?
This is so confusing (I am applying from inside Canada). Thanks!

Hello Zozulia,

Would you please share which company or translator you got the services from?
I would like to contact them as well.

Thanks,
Rajat
