Was your student visa approved already? I applied last Dec 1, had an update for my medical upfront last Dec 16, but no more after that. I had done my medical already in mid-November since my agent told me to have it before visa filing i submitted my application on 28/01/2020 recieved request to give the biometric on 29/01/2020 later on i booked an appointment with VFS Chandigarh , Elante - Business Tower on 30/01/2020. According to the rules your application is not considered complete unless you submit (Offer letter+ GIC cert. +Fee payment receipt- College+ MEDICAL+ BIOMETRIC + SOP + Biometric Fee- ₹5000 approx. + Visa filing fee -₹10K approx.) So in Conclusion once you are done with these things from that day onwards it will take 3 weeks to receive your decision so today is 31/01/2020 so this is my first day of 3 weeks. 3 weeks exclude Sat and Sun. Technically speaking it will take 1 whole month to receive your decision. You submitted your medical mid-jan so expect to receive decision in mid-February

The day you gave your biometrics doesn't count countings start once ircc recieves your biometrics .regularly check your ircc page by entering your Gkey you will find a message saying ircc has recieved your biometrics and from its next day count begin.Hey
