I submitted my application today and received the acknowledgement of receipt. For one of my jobs, I am still awaiting confirmation of service. I attached the email I sent to my former employer with my documents. I also applied for a bridging work permit as my current one expires on September 22. Has anyone had experience with this? I had to submit on paper cos the system couldn't link the work permit application to my log in details. It kept saying "you currently have an application in progress". I have passed my medicals and submitted those too. Do I need to get a police clearance from RCMP as I have been in Canada for 18 months?
