Electronic bills still show the name of the account holder(s) and address. Are the bills in both of your names? The point is to show that you are merging your lives. If you have a joint account, do you pay your rent/bills with cheques from that account?

Thanks for bringing this up. We were living together for quite a while but we always rent without a contract. And a lot of our bills are electronically send via email. Does bank or phone company keep the address changing record? Or maybe ICBC has it?

Unfortunlly not. I always pay first and she gave me later.
I'll check out the electronic bills for sure.
