CEC REFUSED - ADVISE ON REAPPLYING pllllllssssss help

Hello,

My CEC was refused as the Visa Officer indicated that he/she is not "satisfied that you have acquired at least 12 months of full-time work experience, or the equivalent in part-time work experience, in one or more occupations that are listed in Skill Type O Management Occupations or Skill Level A or B of the National Occupational Classification matrix.

Question: I am planning on reapplying and I need help to know if my employer can write the exact job description under the 1121 and reapply or if I should choose another NOC 1241 and reapply. I have been thinking that my job description matches 1241 better than the 1121. Please advise as my visa in Canada would expire in 4 months.

Your employment latter should not be a copy paste of the NOC duties, so just read them and re-write them with your own words then make your employer sign your paper.

It took me like 7 months to get the refusal letter.

your duties on your new employment letter shouldn't be 100% word for word with the duties listed by CIC. It should be similar, but not 100% same.

Here are the duties for NOC 1241:

- Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related material from machine dictation and handwritten copy
- Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
- Determine and establish office procedures
- Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to employer or appropriate person
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings
- Arrange travel schedules and make reservations
- May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities
- May supervise and train office staff in procedures and in use of current software.
- May organize conferences


It does seem like the duties on your current employment letter are more appropriate for NOC 1241 than NOC 1121.

sorry about ur refusal Brandy, pls can u share ur time line??: when did u applied?, When did u get acknowlegment of receipt (AOR)? and when did u get refused??.. will appreciate.. have a great new year and don't give up
