Hi guys,

I am on spouse owp in New Brunswick ..I'm Maintenance Engineer having experience but finding difficulty in getting same field jobs here. mostly getting customer care jobs which comes under noc C. I want to apply for CEC but it doesnt have NOC C. So for immigration sake, if i work for a year what immigration options do i have.

And whats difference bet FSW and CEC?

Your replies are appreciated

Unfortunately the prerequisites for both FSW and CEC include work experience at least a "B" skilled position. If you did at least a year of work in a skilled occupation in your home country, you may be eligible for FSW. A NOC C job won't help you.

The differences between CEC and FSW
- CEC is for experience obtained in Canada
- FSW is for experience obtained outside Canada
- FSW requires proof of funds
- FSW is for experience within the last 10 years
- CEC is for experience within the last 3 years.

SO, is your spouse a student or also working? If working, what kind of work permit?
