You have to show proof of funds, if you don't have job offer with LMIA.

Under EE system, you have to show the proof of funds under both FSW and CEC. But you don't have to meet the minimum amount specified under FSW if you apply under CEC, or have a job/job offer under FSW. That is what my lawyer told me.

Well I have a FT skilled job (non-LMIA) in Canada. I created my EE profile with funds = 2000CAD. My profile is 'open' and in the pool. Whereas I have read in this forum that people are getting ineligible due to lack of funds.

So, I have concluded, if they keep my profile eligible, then I indeed am eligible. There help sections are not really helpful.
