I just had a question. I know a bank statement isn’t required for cec but IRCC still ask for bank statement. My question is can my parent show this statement on my behalf

Bank statement needs to be yours.

You shouldn't have to provide one at all as a CEC applicant. However IRCC won't accept one that's in your parents' name. So I would either upload yours or not upload one at all. Don't upload your parents'.

Thanks a lot for the response. I think initially I had put I would show x amount but now I’m wondering if I should just submit the documents without a bank statement since my finances changed

My other account is actually joint with myself and my gf would that suffice
