Nov 2012 - mid Apr 2013 (5.5 month): full time NOC 1243 medical administrative assistant
mid Apr 2013 - present (almost 10 month): full time as an administrative assistant (potentially NOC 1222 executive assistant?)
PGWP expires on Nov 2014.

Current employer is an insurance broker. Company consists of the broker, manager, and myself.
Should I combine my hours and apply under CEC right now or wait until 1 year employment with my current company and apply via FSW?

Or perhaps, quit my current job and find another NOC 1243 position immediately? That way, i would work up to mid Sep 2014 for 6.5 months. This would be really close to the expiration date of my work permit tho....

I am so confused right now and I honestly don't know what to do now. Please HELP! :o

Administrative officers (NOC 1221)
Administrative assistants (NOC 1241)
are not eligible under CEC.
But your NOC are eligible. So u can combine both ur NOC EXP 1243 AND 1222 and apply, keep in mind that your job duties should match NOC 1243 and 1222 NOT WITH 1221 AND 1241
you never know how CEC rule changes in future so you should apply under CEC.

Another chance u can take is getting exp in 1243 and complete 12 month exp in it. while ur current application in process. But apply for cec soon.I think you are safe with option 1 all depends on ur reference letter. Check from people on this forum who applied with these NOC and see there job duties...AGain..Reference letter will decide your PR application :)..

Good luck

Firstly, for fsw, you need to be either falling with the 29 (think it changed now) occupations or have a permanent full-time job offer. Not sure if your current job is permanent full time?

For CEC, you need to make sure your claimed exp as noc 1222 is convinced as it is similar to noc 1221 or 1241 which are not eligible any longer. If your duties genuinely conforms to 1222, you are eligible for CEC.

It would probably be difficult to have CIC accept your position as NOC 1222, given the exclusion of NOC 1241.

Can't tell you what to do, but you should look into the Arranged Employment stream of the FSW program,
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/employers/arranged-employment.asp

but even more importantly, the PNP program for whatever province you work in. You can always apply to more than one program.
