CEC Inland with PPR. Can i submit my passport by hand?

Hi,

So i have an interesting problem. I got PP request yesterday (17th May) but i have to fly to my home country to attend my sisters wedding ceremony from June 1 to June 4 (big fat Indian wedding).
I will be (should be) back on sunday 11th June and able to submit on 12th June.

What are my other options?
Should i use Fedex instead of Canada post?
Can i go to Ottawa myself and submit it?

Please advise.

Hi,
it is not possible to submit the passport personally, even if you live in Ottawa. Send it by Fedex if possible but don't forget to add prepaid envelope to the shipment (Canada post) for returning.

Hi. You can submit when you are back too.

In my experience it took about 10 days or so from when I sent it to Ottawa. They specifically say to use Xpresspost from Canada Post. It only took a day to reach me once the tracker was initiated
