hi experts
appreciate your advise and help through this forum. could you please clarify my question

my was born here in canada and never went outside canada till date

1) i am including him in the dependent section in the general application form and mentioning that ' will accompany principal applicant' - Yes
but excluding him on background declaration and also not paying fee for them since he was born here....

is this correct or do i need to write a letter to explain the scenario

Hi,
If your child is born in Canada then he/she is already a Canadian Citizen (unless you hold a diplomatic passport). You do not need to include him as a dependent in your application . You do not need to include him as a dependent in Generic application form. Also you do not need to pay any fees for him and include any photos.

However, you need to include him in the additional family information form, Attach a copy of his detail brith certificate and copy of his passport.

I have the same situation as yours..

Good luck...
