CEC file# received, still required LMO & WP ?

Hi All,

I'd recently received file# for CEC application and file transferred to Ottawa. And now WP is getting closer to expiry, do I still need LMO & WP or not ?

What I heard is, once file is in processing, we can remain in Canada, until they make decision.

Plz suggest , thanks for help

1. What you heard is wrong. You need a new LMO and new work permit to continue to work or valid visitor status.
