CEC file number so fast

;D Hi everyone just to share that I got my file number already for my application .Hopefully it will be a good start. I sent my documents last August 19, 2012 and I received email today from CIC office having my file number.Thanks God! Is there anyone that process same time as mine.Hope we can share the developments of our application and keep in touch

Can you confirm that if you received the email from CIO (Sydney) or OttPilot (Ottawa).
I applied in May but I didn't get anything until 3 months from Ottawa which was my AOR.

I didn't receive anything from CIO but apparently they asses your eligibility based on your claims and then send it to another office.
Can you check if the "assessment of eligibility" or some similar term have been mentioned in that email.
I am asking this because If I got this email I would be eligible for Domestic tuition at Ontario Universities.

Are you sure about what you said about file number and tuition fees: "I am asking this because If I got this email I would be eligible for Domestic tuition at Ontario Universities."
So it means that it is applicable to U of T as well, right?
Do you know if this law is written somewhere? (on a website or sth?)

Well, each application is different. Applicants have varying backgrounds especially when it comes to country of origin, countries visited in the past, medical conditions, family status etc and this naturally results in varying processing times.
